Corona Blisters Oakland Thursday, August 18th, 2039 José Corona got the glory and the headlines today, but the Oakland Oaks left with the win. The Ft. Worth third baseman easily handled the Oaks pitching, going 5-for-6, but his Ft. Worth Cattlemen came out on the short end of the 6-5 score. Corona told BNN reporters in the postgame interview he would happily trade "three or four" of his hits for a win. "Heck, maybe even all of them," he said with a laugh. "Right now, it just seems like one loss in a long season but who knows what it could mean at the end." José Corona singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th, struck out in the 10th and singled in the 12th.
