SL Best Hitter Trophy Goes to Gaoteote Thursday, October 1st, 2037 Palaie Gaoteote may be much younger than other hitters in the United States Silver League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in September to win the Batter of the Month award. The 25-year-old San Mateo first baseman hit .345 with 11 home runs, 25 RBIs and 16 runs scored. In 85 games Gaoteote is hitting .269 this season with 83 hits, 23 home runs, 67 RBIs, 33 walks, .347 OBP and has scored 45 runs. |
