Popovic Touches All Bases, Hits for Cycle

Today at The Cattle Pen, Oakland Oaks third baseman Ostoja Popovic accomplished a true baseball rarity, knocking a single, double, triple and a home run to hit for the cycle and lead the Oaks to a 10-3 win over the Ft. Worth Cattlemen.
In a standout performance, Popovic laced 5 hits in 6 at-bats and had 5 RBI.
"I felt good before the game, I felt good during it, and I feel great now," Popovic told reporters.
Ostoja Popovic doubled in the 1st, tripled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Isaac Gunner in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
Popovic is hitting .284 this season with 17 home runs, 60 RBIs and 62 runs scored. He has 124 hits in 437 at-bats.
