Bode Torches Hurricanes for 5 Hits Friday, May 26th , 2062 It was a magical day at the plate for Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC center fielder Bartolo Bode. The 23-year-old Bode helped lift Thunder Bay to a win, 11-1, over the Cape Coral Hurricanes at Great Northern Field. Bode smacked 5 hits in 5 at-bats to spark his club. Bartolo Bode hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Dave Campbell in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Erich Alfaro in the 8th.
