Hit Streak Now at 25 for Salinas Tuesday, July 17th , 2063 Dirty Reds shortstop Fernando Salinas has extended his hitting streak to 25 games. He went 1-for-4 in today's game against the Cape Coral Hurricanes. Dayton won the ballgame, 2-0. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Fernando Salinas flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Harry Marshall in the 4th, struck out in the 5th and grounded out in the 8th. Salinas is currently hitting at a .382 pace with 22 home runs and 58 RBIs. |
