Big Day for Dennis: Swats 5 Hits Saturday, July 30th , 2061 Bob Dennis had an answer for everything the Nova Scotia Leviathan threw at him at Lang Park. The Dayton center fielder went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Dirty Reds a win, 4-3. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Dennis said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Bob Dennis singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, struck out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Dan Cortés in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off Dave Sandoval in the 12th.
