Salinas Wins Best Bat Award in July Wednesday, August 1st , 2063 July's Hitter of the Month has been selected by the Menard's Third League. This month's trophy was presented to the Dayton shortstop, Fernando Salinas. He starred by hitting .390 with a .485 on-base percentage, totaled 32 hits in 82 at-bats, 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 25 runs. For the season, Salinas has produced 91 hits in 253 at-bats for a .360 average with 22 home runs and gotten on base at a .434 clip. |
