Northern Lions BC Kipkorir Gets Perfect Game Wednesday, July 19th , 2062 With the final, flawless out recorded, the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC piled onto Hakizimana Kipkorir at the center of the Megaffin Park diamond. Kipkorir joined baseball's most hallowed club, completing a perfect game against the Kingston Ponies. The 37-year-old right-hander kept the Kingston offense guessing all day long and with some help from the defenders behind him, etched his name into the record books with the 3-0 shutout. "His breaking pitches had more movement than I've ever seen from Hakizimana," Thunder Bay manager Scott Williams said in the postgame interview. "He made everyone's job easy today.
