Salinas Tops 3L in BA, HRs, RBIs -- Triple Crown Thursday, September 27th , 2063 Fernando Salinas of the Dayton Dirty Reds pushed aside the competition to collect one of baseball's rarest prizes, the Triple Crown. He excelled with a .359 batting average, 34 home runs and 100 RBIs, making 2063 a remarkable year for him. "I'm just glad to be playing at Lang Park," Salinas told BNN, "The fans really come alive when you're up." Fans and foes alike were awed by his mythical performance. You don't see a Triple Crown winner very often. This is the 4th time it ever happened in 3L history. |
