Today the Menard's Third League officially added Fernando Salinas to its record book.
The 23-year-old shortstop for the Dayton Dirty Reds put up the top batting average in the league with 148 hits in 412 at-bats for a .359 average. Fernando Salinas played in 104 games and chalked up 20 doubles, 4 triples and 34 home runs, while batting in 100 runs and scoring 94 times.
