González Batters Kingston Big Time
Wednesday, May 2nd , 2063
It was a sensational day at the plate for Buckhead Bowties third baseman Cristo González, but a tough one for the team, as the Bowties dropped the contest, 12-11, to the Kingston Ponies.
Even with the loss, González was pure misery for the Kingston pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked after going 5-for-6 in an explosive display of hitting.
"It's always good to get a bunch of hits in a game, but you also want to win," said González, who is the 25-year old third baseman .
"González really hit the ball hard and when you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage," Ponies manager Rayzor Ray told BNN reporters after the game. "I feel like we threw him some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
Cristo González singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
