Blitzkrieg Roy Hewat Will Miss Season Saturday, May 13th , 2062 Port Huron center fielder Roy Hewat could miss the remainder of the season because of a broken bone in the elbow. He exited yesterday's Port Royal game after injuring himself while running the bases. The original diagnosis said Hewat would be out 5-6 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." At present, Hewat is batting .340 and has collected no home runs, 5 RBIs, .411 OBP and scored 7 runs. |
