McNeal Strokes 5 Hits Monday, May 21st , 2063 Adam McNeal told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what McNeal of the Sunset District Fog did against the Hudson Bay Redwoods. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a defeat, 6-2. "Not much I can say," offered McNeal in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?" Adam McNeal singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
