McKinney Belts Bunch of Base Hits Thursday, June 9th , 2061 Mike McKinney of the Pride was unstoppable in his team's 14-5 victory over the Ft. Myers Marlins at Pride Park. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Hartford second baseman after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Mike McKinney doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run triple in the 8th.
