Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Tuesday, June 21st , 2061 After an intense confrontation, both the Thunderbirds George White and the Buzz Ernesto Valdéz were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Hamilton-Salt Lake City game. George White will miss 4 games, while Ernesto Valdéz was suspended for 9 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," George White commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." For the year, White is batting .128 with no home runs, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored.
