3AAA Player of the Week Selected Monday, July 6th , 2054 Akihiro Ito is respected by most Vermont Lake Monsters fans for his no-frills style of play. The 25-year-old right fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the M3L Triple A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .583 average (7-for-12) with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Ito is batting .268 with 4 home runs and 13 RBIs this season. |
