Jakob Presser Out for Season Tuesday, June 25th , 2058 When Jakob Presser was hurt against the Austin Black Mambas, the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 29-year-old center fielder suffered a fractured ankle running the bases in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Presser would miss 4-5 months of the season. Posting a .280 batting average to date, Presser has 5 home runs and 18 RBIs. |
