The Hialeah catcher finished with 1 hit to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Griggs told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Archie Griggs grounded out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and hit a sac fly in the 7th. Griggs is batting .296 with 9 home runs and 37 RBIs this season. |
