Hartford's Rillera Will Miss Season Wednesday, July 27th , 2061 Ernan Rillera of the Pride just might have to call it quits for the season. The 22-year-old Hartford reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Florida Men recently at Psychos Ballpark. Rillera suffered bone chips in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Pride medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4 months. This season, Rillera has made 23 relief appearances, recorded 4 saves and compiled a 1-4 won-lost mark and a 5.18 ERA. In pitching 24.1 innings, he has totaled 16 strikeouts and 22 walks. |
