Player of the Week: Fernández of the Dodos Monday, July 15th , 2058 Jesús Fernández is respected by most Hialeah Dodos fans for his no-frills style of play. The 32-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the M3L Triple A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .429 average (9-for-21) with 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season, Fernández has hit at a .285 clip and produced 26 runs batted in, 7 home runs and 27 runs. |
