Season Over for Carlos Mejía in Hialeah Tuesday, August 2nd , 2061 The Hialeah Dodos were dealt a blow today when reliever Carlos Mejía left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Mejía has suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. So far this season, Mejía has a 1-0 won-lost record with no saves. He has made 18 relief appearances, logged 35.1 innings and fanned 35 batters while fashioning a 4.58 ERA and allowing the opposition a .228 batting average. |
