Bang-up Game: Blake Slams 3 Homers Saturday, September 16th , 2062 Florida Men second baseman Mike Blake put on a dazzling display of power at Ballpark of Port Royal against the Port Royal Disaster. In the 12-2 Men victory, Blake penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts. "He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter," Port Royal manager Miguel Aguilar said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well." Along with his three home runs, the 23-year-old had 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off," Blake said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today."
