Woods Wins 3AAA Best Player Award Monday, September 17th , 2063 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Triple A, but last week Jim Woods of the Ft. Myers Marlins reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Woods rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (10-for-20), 2 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. Woods currently has a .272 batting average with 93 hits, 8 homers, 43 RBIs, 45 runs scored and a .319 OBP. |
