Walters Named Top Reliever for 3AAA Thursday, October 4th , 2057 2057 was a year to remember for Ed Walters. The Vermont Lake Monsters reliever was the owner of a 2.97 ERA this season over 88 innings of work. He made 42 relief appearances and had 10 saves, 71 strikeouts, 32 walks and a record of 6 wins and 7 losses. He's also now got some hardware, as the 32-year-old has been named the M3L Triple A Reliever of the Year Award winner. "It's something I can tell my grandchildren some day, pretty special," he said. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 12. Sun-ho Yang of the Austin Black Mambas finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Daniel Ricciardo of the Vermont Lake Monsters finished third.
