3AAA's Best Player Selected, It's Turner
Saturday, October 9th , 2060
At the age of 25, Gabriel Turner of the Plymouth Rocks could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2060 was good enough to win the right fielder the M3L Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .309 batting average this year, as well as a .358 on-base percentage. He played 100 games and racked up 121 hits, 19 doubles, 3 triples, 19 home runs, 78 RBIs and 57 runs scored.
He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 12. Ricardo Pérez of the Plymouth Rocks finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Kenny Johnson of the Pawnee ParksNRec finished third with 1 first place vote.
