Vermont Center Fielder Picked 3AAA Player of the Week Monday, June 1st, 2043 So far in his young career, Takeshi Kovacs has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Vermont Lake Monsters center fielder hit at a torrid .379 clip as he collected 11 hits in 29 at-bats, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored. In the 2043 season Kovacs is hitting .255 with 3 home runs. |
