Season Ends for Blair MacRuer of Vermont Friday, May 13th , 2061 Blair MacRuer has to call it a season. The Vermont Lake Monsters first baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Sunset District Fog and will not play again this year according to club doctors. MacRuer was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a severely strained hip muscle and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months. Currently MacRuer is batting .241 with 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 9 runs scored. |
