Ko Thwarts Bakersfield, 6-0 Saturday, June 2nd , 2063 Tong-kyu Ko had an impressive outing at Jerome Grounds, hurling the Philadelphia Liberty Reserves to a 6-0 shutout victory over the Bakersfield Nobles. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Bakersfield skipper Timmy Appeldoorn said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do.
