Durán Raps Plymouth for 5 Hits Tuesday, June 19th , 2057 Calgary center fielder Júlio Durán had a fantastic day at the plate at Lynx Stadium, knocking out 5 hits and pacing his club to a win, 10-3. "It was like I was hitting Little League pitching," Durán said after his 5-for-5 performance against the Rocks. "No offense meant to Plymouth, but it was like I was back in little league again -- I could see the ball that well. But this wasn't a kid park, it was Lynx Stadium." After the game, his manager elaborated on the center fielder's improvements, saying Durán spent the offseason trying to shorten his swing and stay inside the ball. "That's what I'm trying to do," Durán said. "Be quick to the ball and let it travel a little farther so I get a better look at it." Júlio Durán singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. Hitting .298 to date, Durán has 4 home runs and 18 RBIs.
