5-for-6 Day for Small Thursday, September 6th , 2063 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Baton Rouge's Eric Small made it happen against the Liberty Reserves. Everything came together at the plate for the 22-year-old first baseman as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Brass triumph, 14-5, at Brass Field. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Small said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Eric Small singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Miguel MartÃnez in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
