Caballero Belts Bunch of Base Hits Saturday, May 8th , 2055 Javier Caballero told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Caballero of the Plymouth Rocks did against the Milton Dogfish Head. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a 12-11 defeat. "Not much I can say," offered Caballero in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?" Javier Caballero singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
