Taricco Shuts Out Monongahela Thursday, May 19th, 2044 The Sacramento Redlegs shut out the Monongahela Monsters 5-0 today behind the strong pitching of Isacco Taricco. Taricco surrendered only 2 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 3. Following the last out, Taricco appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Monongahela manager Miguel Martínez, who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken left-hander as the clubs left the field. Taricco's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart. The Monsters skipper would not comment on the exchange, but at the Redlegs press conference, Taricco confirmed that it was regarding the celebration.
