Sunset District's Montoya SAAA Star of the Week Monday, July 7th, 2036 Gabriel Montoya burst onto the USSL Triple A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie left fielder for Sunset District garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 21-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .333 (8-for-24) with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs last week. For the year Montoya has hit at a .257 clip with 28 RBIs, 9 home runs and 28 runs scored. |
