Barrage of Hits Gets Tiger SAAA Award Monday, August 8th, 2044 So far in his young career, Curtis Tiger has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Tortolita Drummers center fielder hit at a torrid .625 clip as he collected 10 hits in 16 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. In 23 games this season Tiger is batting .302 with 29 hits and 2 home runs. He has scored 15 runs and driven in 16. |
