Torrid June Gets Nelson SAAA #1 Batter Trophy Friday, July 1st, 2039 For a rookie just breaking in, Cecil Nelson certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the SAAA Batter of the Month award for June. The 26-year-old first baseman for the Sunset District Fog hit .333 with 5 home runs, 22 RBIs and 19 runs scored. Nelson is currently hitting at a .294 pace with 10 home runs, 44 RBIs and has scored 36 times. |
