Injury Sidelines Basava Puri for Season Wednesday, August 8th, 2040 The season is apparently over for Basava Puri. The Florida Men medical staff informed the club that the center fielder will be out at least 7-8 months with a torn posterior cruciate ligament. Puri was hurt in the game against Scranton while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. So far in 2040 Puri is batting .252 with 4 home runs, 16 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 30 hits in 119 at-bats and a .359 OBP. |
