Joicey 6-for-7 Against Forest City Friday, August 12th, 2044 It seemed that Syracuse shortstop Gabe Joicey could do no wrong as the Squirrel Monkeys KO'd the Warriors, 13-11 today. Joicey rapped out 6 hits in 7 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Warriors hurlers were throwing. "I think the Squirrel Monkeys were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Forest City fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Joicey in the postgame press interview. Gabe Joicey singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Michael Ramsey in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI triple in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 9th, doubled in the 11th and flied out in the 14th.
