Soto Runs Hit String to 25 Straight Games

Jesús Soto has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 24-year-old Santa Barbara Golden Cranes first baseman extended his streak to 25 games, going 2-for-3 as Santa Barbara got the best of the Milton Dogfish Head at Crane Field, 4-3.
"Jesús has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Golden Cranes manager Júlio González said. Jesús Soto grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
Soto is batting at a .417 pace this season, picking up 30 hits in 72 at-bats with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
