Razor-Sharp Sullivan Blanks Monongahela Monday, June 5th , 2062 Alan Sullivan had an impressive outing at Florence Field, hurling the Florence Flamingos to a 5-0 shutout victory over the Monongahela Monsters. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Monongahela skipper Sancho Tornero said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." On the day, the right-handed Sullivan yielded 9 hits and tallied 3 strikeouts with no walks.
