League Suspends Rustler and O'Reilly for Fisticuffs Friday, June 30th , 2062 Jimmie Rustler of Nashville and Robert O'Reilly of Norfolk were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Rustler will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while O'Reilly was given 2 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This season, Rustler is hitting at a .287 pace with 6 home runs, 19 RBIs and has scored 17 times. This season, O'Reilly has been credited with no saves. In 15 relief appearances and 19.1 innings he has a 3-2 won-lost mark, a 1.86 ERA and 14 strikeouts. |
