Injury Sidelines Greg Erwin for Season Sunday, July 26th , 2054 The season is finished for Greg Erwin of the Hamilton Thunderbirds. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Thunderbirds center fielder suffered a torn labrum while making a defensive play in a recent game against the Kansas Rainbeaus. Team doctors said it would take at least 10-11 months to heal. In the current season, Erwin has put up a .247 batting average with 65 hits, 4 home runs, 17 runs batted in and scored 32 runs. |
