SAAA Awards Best Batter Prize to Cahill Monday, July 16th , 2063 Dave Cahill demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the USSL Triple A Player of the Week Award. The Tortolita first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .407 average (11-for-27) with 3 home runs and 9 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. So far on the season, Cahill is hitting .330 with 13 home runs, 44 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has 67 hits and played in 54 games. |
