Mowat Wins SAAA Prize, Named Best Hitter in July Wednesday, August 1st , 2063 When Dan Mowat stepped up to the plate in July he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the USSL Triple A Batter of the Month award. The young Tortolita left fielder posted a .382 batting average with 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 18 runs. Mowat also worked pitchers for 4 walks to post a .411 on-base percentage. Mowat is batting .379 this season in 44 games with 9 home runs, 24 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has 74 hits in 195 at-bats. |
