Brooks Snares SAAA Top Batter Award in July Monday, August 1st , 2061 Even though he is a newcomer to USSL Triple A, Jeremy Brooks put up some good numbers in July and earned the SAAA Batter of the Month award. He was one of Tortolita's offensive leaders with a .306 average in 22 games. He also racked up 10 home runs, 25 RBIs, and 21 runs scored. This season, Brooks has banged out 33 hits in 141 at-bats for a .234 average with 10 home runs. He is getting on base at a .306 pace and his totals also include 27 RBIs and 24 runs scored. |
