SAAA Premier Player Picked Monday, August 17th , 2054 Jason Thrower demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the USSL Triple A Player of the Week Award. The Hartford shortstop wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .538 average (7-for-13) with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This season Thrower is swinging the bat at a .284 rate with 56 hits in 197 at-bats. To date he has hit 5 home runs, scored 27 runs and driven in 31. |
