Norfolk's Atkins SAAA Star of the Week Monday, August 11th , 2053 Norfolk Pajaritos first baseman Keith Atkins walked away with the USSL Triple A Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Pajaritos fans are really behind me right now," said the 26-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Atkins batted .429 (6-for-14) with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs this week on his way to the award. Atkins is currently batting .260 with 12 home runs and 40 RBIs. |
