Players Suspended in Drummers-Rocks Donnybrook Monday, August 20th , 2063 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Tortolita-Plymouth contest at Plymouth Quarry. The Drummers Dave Cahill and the Rocks Norberto González will have to sit out 4 and 9 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. So far this year in 78 games, Cahill is hitting .307 with 18 home runs, 62 RBIs and 44 runs scored. This season, González has a 4-4 mark in 14 starts with a 3.90 ERA. He has given up 100 hits in 90 innings, struck out 86 and issued 22 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .280 batting average against him. |
