Denny Gaston of the Sioux Falls Red Pandas is just that kind of pitcher. In August, he was acclaimed the Pitcher of the Month by the USSL Triple A. Sioux Falls's star reliever held the opposition to a .162 average and put up no saves and 35 strikeouts in 31 innings with a 2-1 mark and a 0.58 ERA. Gaston's record this season is 3-and-1 with no saves and a 0.97 ERA. He has given up 23 hits in 37 innings with 39 strikeouts. |
