Pride End Martínez Streak Sunday, July 30th , 2062 Carlos Martínez's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 20 games, as the Philadelphia Liberty Reserves dropped their contest with the Hartford Pride, 4-3, at Liberty Reserve Stadium. Martínez failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-3. After the game Martínez spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. So far this year, Martínez is batting .349 with 7 home runs and 41 RBIs. |
