USSL Triple A's Best Batter Announced Monday, July 31st , 2062 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Ofa Paulo, the Norfolk Pajaritos 24-year-old first baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for USSL Triple A Player of the Week honors. He ripped 11 hits in 22 at-bats, compiling a .500 average with 5 home runs and 11 RBIs. At the moment, Paulo is batting .330 with 23 home runs and 58 RBIs. He has played in 69 games and scored 38 times. |
