Flowers Earns July's Top Batter Prize in SAAA Tuesday, August 1st , 2062 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 24 Carl Flowers has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Tortolita Drummers star can enjoy the numbers he put up in July, which have garnered him the nod as the USSL Triple A Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .429 average with 7 home runs, 21 RBIs and 16 runs scored. At the moment, Flowers is hitting .391 with 14 home runs and 51 RBIs. He has played in 69 games and scored 41 times. |
